All four manga are depressing...

Anyone read Nijigahara Holographic, Oyasumi Punpun (Goodnight Punpun), Hotel, or Ai-Ren? If you have not, you should go and read them as soon as possible (all of them are on mangafox).

Nijigahara Holograph (12 chapters) links together the stories of a group of former classmates during a sudden explosion in the population of butterflies.

Oyasumi Punpun follows the life of Punpun "who is depicted as a tiny, caricatured bird in an otherwise normal human setting". (not all the chapters were released yet. there is currently is 56 chapters.)

Both Nijigahara Holograph and Oyasumi Punpun are by Inio Asano and both look like they were writen while Asano was trippin balls. Both are also really dark and twisted stories...

Ai-Ren (43 chapters) is an awesome series about this dude who is about to die and decides get this genetically modified girl to stay with him during his final days.


Hotel (One Shot): "A computer continues to live on in order to complete a mission in a world where all life, including Mankind, has gone extinct. This is a record of those 27 million years of its heroic struggle."


BUT before you read any of these, i will warn you, there is sex and boobs in Punpun, Nijihara, and Ai-Ren...
