Hey you guys we have Awesome Ideas for merchandise!

Okay, Geoffrey Siu and I have been doing our usual rambling AIM conversation, and we came up with good ideas!

Pokeball charms, because it's easy and cool!
Pokeball charms of every single different type of pokeball! Even the cherish ball or whatever it is.
If someone buys ten pokeball charms, they get a free premier ball!
We can have a lottery for a master ball charm, one per person. A bowl full of numbers and a chart showing which number can get you a master ball, one dollar per draw!
Unless that person buys an Action Replay charm! Then their one dollar can get them three draws or something.


And make some Domo-kun charms.


And we have a sort of half-formed idea for Ditto putty. But how one makes ditto putty, we don't know.


Any further awesome ideas will be posted, and you should all post some awesome ideas yourself!

I've already been doing some. o.o Someone on DA made them and I got inspired and did some already. I plan on making at least 3 of each by con. D:

Also, no lotterys allowed. It's called gambling and gambling is illegal in Hawaii, thus it cannot be done at a con.

Oh yeah, ideas I've come across:

-Pokemon badges. I've already got how to do it down, now it's all about getting the materials to experiment with it until we get it just right. Shrink Plastic Sheets; Inkjet Shrink Sheets, to be precise. These are shrink-dink plastics that you can print on and shrink. I'll coat them in clear nail polish for water protection and gloss.

-Custom nails. Go look up A-Little-Kitty on DA or her shop hh-candy.com. She does custom nails and I think they're adorable. If we can get our shrink charms down, we can make custom nails like that. With anime characters or cute things on them. Very cute.

-Tiny bottled creatures. Like fearies from Zelda or just something cute and small. I say stay away from mini-cranes because another table at AA does that already, don't want to piss them off. >_>;; They can be glittered, glow in the dark, or just there.

Also there's a cute idea I had to put in a dandalion seed in there [just one] and it can be like having a captured wish. It was something I saw on DA too. xD

-Gift boxes. We can hand paint them, put little clay figure on top, ribbon to accompany. Tiny ones, like you can put necklaces or rings or cards. Something cute and small.

-Bottle Cap pins. Just as a reminder. They can be earings and pendants too. Pies, drawn, anything you can think of.

-Tiny hats. Can be found at swapmeets and thrift stores for a buck, can be made into 20+ lolita hats.

D: What are you talking about, those are super easy to make. The Darkrai charm is basically a small slab of wood that you paint on and drill a hole through the top. And a bead at the end of the string.

The Romtom is either wood or clay on top of a wooden rod.

Regarding the lottery...

How about after a certain price, we give a free lotto ticket with the chance of a free masterball? No one is spending extra money for the ticket, and the charm is free~

Oh How about! For the masterball, if people spend let's say ten dollars or more, they automatically get a chance to get a free master ball. Like if they spend ten dollars of more, then they get to draw a random number and see if they've won.
And if they buy an action replay then their one ten-dollar purchase can count as like three ten-dollar purchases or something. hahahh
That's not gambling, right?

Basically, you can't have a lottery at all. ._. The con just won't have it. We'll get in trouble if we hold any lottery of any sort. Even if the tickets are free.

IDK I think it's stupid, but that's what the con says. "Any lottery is considered gambling, with or without purchase."

aw man... that sucks... and it was such a good idea!

Lame. Well I still believe in only giving away Master Balls. They cannot be purchased!

Also, cardboard box charms. There's a very wide selection of boxes to choose from ranging from soggy orange-delivering boxes to action-figure-delivering boxes to boxes with exclamation marks on them.
And if the boxes are hollow then maybe we could make a tiny Snake to go inside!

Well we could always say "with a purchase of X-dollars or more, you get a master ball".

That'd work. :3 We'd have to tally all the sales, though.

That'd suck if they just got a button and then got a charm. xD Suprise gift. The charm would be more expensive than their item.

haha, Yeah I think the XXth person is a good idea! And if you really want to, you can say the XXth person who spends X amount of money or more in one purchase. hahahah

About the masterball thing....Hrmm. I say that we create a wheel!!! It's not that hard to make, and all we need is paint, wood, and a few nails. So. With every purchase of X-amount of pokeball keychains, say, 3 keychains (like, one greatball, two pokeballs), they get a free keychain, and have to spin the wheel to determine what that keychain will be, and the best on there is the masterball. So it's not really a lottery, and regardless, they'll win the fourth keychain. XD YAAAY~<3

I also kinda like the tiny-thing-in-a-bottle idea. I'd wanna make like, wishes on a fallen star. Or something like that. Anyway, that idea is cute.

I need ideas for my sweets keychains...any? >.>; So last year's favorites were the chocolates, the pocky was liked a lot, the hershey kisses, smores, and...errr... Think that's it. I'm also thinking of adding like...ice cream, chocolate-dipped strawberries, chocolate-dipped ice cream, cake, and more random stuff.

How about we do another giveaway thing?

1st customer-special pin. Only one of these available to the public.
10th customer-Dango keychain. Yet another single item.
20th customer...
etc, until like, 50th customer-masterball keychain.
And on and on. Like, every 50 customers, masterball? o.o; But these people have to buy like, more than a button. So. We'll keep track. I'll bring in like, several receipt booklets.

For me...I kinda wanna do like, whatevers I can...so, I might do like, pendants and necklaces and stuff...so. Upon getting a job, all of my production is going to increase...gotta get that job and balance homework and stuff. Means lots of work during OU meetings and homeroom and the like

The problem is that we don't have enough room for a wheel. We have way too many things on one table. We could get two tables, but I don't want to pay for another 70 dollar piece of space. Especially since I'm the one who's always paying. =_= [Next to Geoff paying for prints.] So I'm going to say no to the wheel idea because there's no space. Even for a small one. And even so, I don't think people are going to stand around long enough to do the whole wheel deal. And it'll piss off the AA staff since they'll be standing there for a good while and they get anal about the walk ways and stuff. D;

WAIT.... I'm buying prints again?! D:>

... :'D Hey you get paid back within a week. D: Or at least this time cause we don't have to deal with the school.

Curse AA and their silly respect of the other artist's space! I thought the wheel was a good idea. I also agree with Reyna's giveaway idea, those kinds of things always attract customers. But when I think about it, even though it's a masterball, it kind of seems like a cheap gift. It's too small... What if we gave out gift basket kind of things? Not a giant basket, but they get an assortment of a few things.

Also to Reyna, candy apples! And jello, like it was in a jello mold.
You could also do utensils, like dessert forks and wine glasses. haha
And maybe you could do foreign deserts too, but things that people would be able to recognize as dessert. Just something that looks exotic and fancy.

And Jackie, if you need any monehs, I think I could spare some. And not just that I could get money from my parents. As much as I hate spending money, it's not like I can do anything else with it. So if I must spend anything, it may as well be on something that matters, like KK stuff!
